An-Naba (Arabic. النبأ - News) - the seventy-eighth surah of the Quran. Meccan Sura. Consists of 40 verses.The sura affirms the truth of resurrection, contains a threat to those who doubt it, and provides evidence of the power of Allah. Then, in the Surah, some signs of the resurrection are given and the punishment prepared for the infidels and the reward for the God-fearing are spoken of.
